The Emir of Katsina at Sallah Ceremony

Wearing bark cloth and leopard skin robes, Ronald Mutebi II is installed as Kabaka, or king, of the ancient Buganda kingdom of Uganda. It is a mark of traditional Africaâs connection with Europe and the modern world that the king was educated in England and living in Britain just before his succession to the throne.
